At the end of 2018 we decided with my friend Clement Balavoine to use our free time to make a tribute of the master piece:
Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Today I’m releasing the renders of this little project we made around Asuka and it’s plug cockpit.
Clement did an amazing work with the suit redesign meanwhile I was on the plug. Clement also worked on the videos revisiting some iconic shot of the serie.
We wanted both something realistic in the shapes.
This collaboration was the perfect opportunity to try some new directions and get out of the confort zone with all that red!
The pod itself was particularly inspired by the slick lines of the PB-18 E Tron concept by Audi.
